Terms of Service

Last updated: 8 May 2026

In short: by using gobyte.software you agree to these terms. The site is informational; the work we do for clients is governed by separate written agreements. We retain copyright over our content. We won't be liable for losses from things outside our reasonable control. English law applies.

1. About these terms

These terms govern your use of gobyte.software. By browsing or otherwise using the site, you accept them. If you don't agree with any part of them, please don't use the site.

2. Who we are

The site is operated by GOBYTE SOFTWARE LTD, a company registered in England & Wales under company number 16769913, with its registered office at 71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London, WC2H 9JQ. You can reach us at stefanos@gobyte.software.

3. What this site is (and isn't)

This site exists to describe what we do, show examples of our work, and let you start a conversation with us. It is not an offer to enter into a contract. Any project we take on is governed by a separate written agreement signed by both parties — nothing on this website creates a binding commitment to deliver work.

Pages presented as portfolio examples (showcase pages for restaurants, hotels, real estate, mobile apps, and similar) are design demonstrations. The fictional brands, names, and content on those pages are for illustration only and do not represent real businesses or live services.

4. Using the site

You may view, download, and print pages from gobyte.software for your own personal or internal business reference. You may not:

  • Copy, republish, or redistribute material from the site for commercial purposes without our written permission.
  • Scrape the site at a rate that disrupts service for other visitors, or attempt to bypass our rate limits or security measures.
  • Use any part of the site to train a machine learning model, or to create a derivative work, without prior written consent.
  • Submit content through the contact form that is unlawful, defamatory, or impersonates someone else.

We may suspend access for anyone who breaches these rules.

5. Our content

All content on the site — copy, code, design, logo, illustrations — is owned by GoByte Software Ltd or licensed to us, and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property rights. The "GoByte" name and logo are unregistered trade marks of GoByte Software Ltd. Third-party trade marks shown on portfolio pages belong to their respective owners.

6. Links to other sites

Where we link to external websites we do so for convenience or context. We don't endorse them, control their content, or take responsibility for what they do. Visit them at your own risk.

7. No warranties

The site is provided "as is" and "as available". We make no promises that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that it will meet your requirements. Information on the site is provided in good faith but may contain inaccuracies; you shouldn't rely on it as professional advice for your specific situation.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, GoByte Software Ltd is not liable for any loss of profits, loss of business, loss of data, or any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of (or inability to use) this website. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under English law.

If we agree to do paid work for you, the limits and warranties for that work will be set out in the project agreement, not these terms.

9. Privacy

How we handle personal data is described in our Privacy Policy. By using the site you also accept that policy.

10. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects when. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated version.

11. Governing law

These terms and any dispute arising out of or in connection with them are governed by the laws of England & Wales. The courts of England & Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
